At the top of Totnes High Street, opposite the inn, you will find the Albatross, our four bedroom self-catered apartment. The interiors align with our ecological ethos and approach, meaning we have kept what we can, refurbishing, reusing and reclaiming fittings, furniture & furnishings to complement our deeply ethical new purchases; such as the heavenly Naturalmat organic mattresses or the Greenfibres organic linen & towels. Vintage Crewel work curtains, velvet sofas and leather armchairs compliment the stripy reclaimed tiles, original paintings and big, lush plants.

KITCHEN

The modern kitchen features everything you would expect, with an oven, gas hob, fridge, dishwasher and all the little amenities you would need to dish up a feast for family and friends. Styled with antique crockery and cutlery, new and vintage glassware, a gorgeous, antique Cuban table and industrial shades create a cool dining space that leads out to the large roof terrace. LIVING R0OM

The large, jade green living room features a a mix up of second-hand sofas, fabrics of paprika velvet and English striped linen partner with eclectic international blankets and antique armchairs. Pull up the projector for a cosy evening of movies or gather together for board games. Beautiful pitch pine cupboards, shelves and chests are filled with books & games. Large patterned rugs and cosy, warm features.

ROOMS

Following along the Victorian staircase, paired with a vibrant lemon wall and mid-century glass statement shade, the ink blue stripe leads upstairs. Dive into our organic Natural Mat mattresses, handmade in Exeter, and tuck under natural shades of organic Green Fibre sheets for the night. Paired with natural plaster ceilings, against subtle pastel shades, our four rooms range from two King size and two Super Kings, which can be split into Twins, with additional space for cots. Rooms overlook the Rotherfold Square and a patchwork of courtyard gardens, homing curated collections of antique furniture and vintage styling.
